Is it time to declare the Disney brand dead?  Only a couple weeks ago the entertainment giant suffered one of its worst box office showings ever with the failure of The Marvels, a feminist driven girl-boss movie which was widely applauded by social justice advocates but ignored by the vast majority of the public.  The film is expected to lose $200 million to $300 million once receipts are totaled and marketing costs are accounted for.

In a bizarre attempt at maximum cope, the media is hailing The Marvels as the largest ever theatrical opening by a black female director. When, in fact, the movie is actually the largest box office bomb made by a black female director. 

Now, Disney's animated 'The Wish' is set to top that failure, falling well below box office predictions and bringing in only $32 million over a five day period including the once lucrative Thanksgiving weekend.

The 40% number is being pushed by media. Had a family member say 40% sounds right which baffled me as that is almost every second person you know or have met would be gay.

It’ll be interesting if young generations go from 1% gay to 40% gay by method of media communication. I think many people do things as a fad due to excitement. How many gay people and Herero people walk spend each day conversing about their sexual preference? Didn’t we all just get on with life? The past 3yrs it seems announcing your sexual preference is a full time job, wait till boredom sets in and many will go back to how they were prior.

Went on a Disney cruise week before last and they played that movie. It wasn’t what I called woke, more like “hopeful” and came from a good place. Either way, I didn’t like it and was sure after watching it that it would bomb. My kids didn’t seem to into it.

44 years ago a buddy and I went to Busch Gardens in Florida.
They had a beer tent with free beer and we got pleasantly drunk.
I think it was a two week or so trip and we did not drink water once all the way.

When I drank, Epcot was fun, had a beer in every country (nips in pocket as well). By the time I got around the park/circle, was pretty lit up...
