How to tone or burn off fat?

I heard that you should not run or do aerobics  if you're trying to build muscles. CAuse loading phase only weights and eat lots. You only do aerobics only when you wanna cutt after you gain muscles. However I'm like eating a lot lately and i wanna burn off the tummy fats. I work out like 5 days now. I wonder if i can like incorporate running or jumping jack to the routine. I also heard that running burns fats + muscles. I just want to burn fat with the least muscles burning effects. do you guys think jump rope is the solution or is there any other way out? please help.

Doing some running or other 'conditioning' work won't hamper your gains as long as you don't go overboard.

Body recomposition (ie getting leaner) is more a function of diet.  Start there, use running as a means of improving performance and health.

you can't tone fat.  Moderate cardio is not going to effect gains.
