What do lower tier pros do to make a living?

I have met a couple lower tier guys that seem to do little more than work as personal trainers. That is fine, and a job but has to be a disapointment .
I mean c'mon, you bust your azz , earn a pro card and then don't make a dime as a pro. Kinda sad really

Personal trainers can make good $$$ these days.  Unfortunately you don't have to even look like you work out to become one.

I am NOT knocking being a personal trainer, I just think it sad that a guy earns a pro card and can't ever make a dime directly from the sport he turns pro in

Some Pros do great:

Victor M. had a great scam going with his gym...

Troy Alves does great in the ticket scalping business....

Shariat Kamali is living it up living off his wife/parents...

Kai Green makes a killing tearing up grapefruits....

i think body builders should be body guards get paids hundreds per day to follow some rich a-hole around all night, any one can personal train, ive seen grandpas training clients at gyms, belive me

Yeah it is kinda sad when u think about it. But i mean, u can earn a good living as a P.T, and if you have any business smarts, can look at managing or running a gym when you get older.

But yeah i imagine earning a pro card would be a huge achievement for any bodybuilder, but you get it then go back to doing exactly what you were doing before you turned pro. I can see why some pros give up on bodybuilding after a couple of years.

Only problem with being a personal bodyguard is:
Pretty hard to get a job as one.
Full-time job, where they go, you go. Not much time for training and getting ready for a show.

In all seriousness, bouncing is a pretty good job for someone concentrating on making it in a sport. A lot of boxers, bodybuilders do it as it is a very convenient job. Work all night, then the whole day to sleep and train. Only problem is most people don't see being a bouncer as a very good job. But hey, if your big and can defend yourself, its ok for a couple of years.
