Now that the official era of Heath vs. Wolf is about to begin who do you guys think will be the bridesmaid? Will Wolf be Coleman and Heath Levronne? Or maybe the other way around? Will they each beat each other or will one have dominance? Let the predictions begin!!
p.s. lets not make this a "truce" thread. A couple of comments from each poster is probably good :P

Heath might have the upper-hand in the long run, his structure keeps filling out more and more...
on the other-hand... we have seen Wolf own almost everyone on the Olympia stage this year and get a well deserved...(if not he should have place higher), 5th place
Phil has yet to place at the Olympia...and Wolf won't be back until Olympia 2008...i know he will bring some crazy improvements!
Phil's time to impress is now...if he lines up a Victory at the Ironman...top 3 in the ASC or possibly a win there too...then come olympia time...Jay is going to have to fight off Victor, Wolf, and Heath...
i still think at the present moment Victor is the guy who should be wearing the crown of MR.O
and Dennis and Phil can be the new fore-runners for the title in 2008...and on...
Victor Has the best chance i think thus far...all depending on how he looks next to Heath at the ASC, we've already seen him place 2nd at the Olympia to a 5th place Wolf, but now with Heath in the mix, it will be nice to see how he measures up...
in closing...Wolf will be back bigger and better, and i don't even care who wins the Olympia in 2008...just wanna see who wins between Wolf and Heath!!!!!

Heath looks amazing in the new pics but he's not standing next to anyone. Wolf looked huge on the Olympia stage against the biggest guys around. I give Heath the edge in muscle quality IF he can keep that size when he dries out, but he does look fucking freaky now. He seems to be one of the few, like Ronnie, that took a big leap in size and it was quality muscle. Most guys that blow up are just bigger,less defined versions of themselves. We will have to see if Wolf is still improving as well. How's that for inconclusive? ;D

I have a feeling this is how most everyone is thinking. . . after seeing those new pics of Heath and watching the improvements Wolf made last year it's getting pretty exciting. . . been a while since I've been this intrigued about the upcoming bodybuilding "season"!!

I would take Heath over Wolf anyday - when you look at Wolf's physique in comparision you see too many weak spots that Heath would best him in.

Love the new Heath pics. AWESOME is an understatement.
BUT, that is him NOW. Things can go wrong bt now and the 08 olympia. That shape versus a Wolfe? HMM...Wolfe has a better package due to legs period. Heath needs to bring up his wheels.
Side note-->Cutler will NOT go away easily. This dude trains as hard, if not harder than anyone and is 110% committed to his game. Second guessing him is ignorant.

Cutler's best, which is long gone, is not as good as Wolf or Heath. They carry quality muscle and have great frames. Cutler looks like an uncooked chicken

Wolf has a much larger frame and will always dwarf Heath so I think it all depends on who has the best conditioning and Wolf has been shredded at every show since he was an amateur, Heath seems to be having a little trouble as he has gotten bigger..

I would also I have to pick wolf being the bridesmaid. The new phots of Heath dose look amazing.

This is probably not the best comparison but the best
I have seen personally. I have seen seperately Bertil
Fox and Lee Haney in their prime. Bertil Fox was more impressive
by himself. He had that awe factor and his arms were as big as his head.
Put him against Haney onstage though and we all know who dominated
with their structure. I think Heath will be too narrow (clavicly) to stand
against Wolf in the long run. Once Wolf totally fills out, I think he will dominate.

agreed. wolf has a bigger frame with wider clavicles... plus he is taller.. next to wolf heath will appear narrow

I'm tempted to actually stop by the university bookstore and pick up the most recent copy of MD and check out the coverage on Wolf (my university picks up two copies a month, neither of which usually sell). Should I buy it?

Heath looks incredible, but so far we have only seen pics of just himself, not next to anyone. Wolf is one of the biggest and widest guys in bodybuilding right now. Those two next to each other will be very interesting. Either way, they both look incredible, and both have the type of physiques that bodybuilding needs.

I think my monthly spending on myself is up to $30 so far. I admit I'm taking it a little too far when I sometimes will not spend enough on food. Food is the only thing I want to have a very liberal budget for since it ties directly to my bodybuilding goals.
My school picks up two copies of MD and usually neither sell. :-[

I feel Heath is a tad more complete...and is more facially appealing...close though...marketing wise.
Remember...take it from a marketer...EVERYTHING comes down to marketing and what sells best.

but heath has a narrow structure...he'll never have the size edge on Wolf..nor the width...
he just might get the Dexter-Jackson treatment and never beat the big dogs at the major shows...

well I just went back and counted the posts and it seems that wolf is leading heath 10-8 with several undecideds. . . I have a feeling that for the next 5 years there is gonna be some heated arguments over who is better heath or wolf. . . cant wait to see these guys on stage together!!!

If Wolf makes some improvements til the O., Heath comes in sharp, Victor improves, Dex stays steady, and Cutler tries to prove he's no fluke. Just might be the best top 5 at a Mr. Olympia ever!

Wolfe will make heath look really small and narrow. Wolfe also has a smaller, tighter waist. Heath already has guy problems and is close to getting as big as he can get while wolfe is nowhere near filled out.

How does anyone know when a guy is 'close to fully flilling out' ?? ??? Did anyone expect Ronnie Coleman wouldve been able to add all those inches onto his thighs in '03??? I doubt it.So less with the bullsh*t about guessing who wont have much more growth in them :-X

No point in comparing last years photos of Wolf. Phil is a much different bber this year. His new size will serve him well. Wolf will have to be better than last year to compete with him now.

The biggest + for Wolf is, that one of his strength, "the X frame" (Broad shoulder width, slim waistline)
is not the strength of Phil heath. Also the chest of Wolf is better than Heath`s chest. Arms goes to Heath,
legs i see Heath also a bit infront of Wolf. Both have different kinds of backs, i will say equal....
I hope that Dennis Wolf will improve (a full year without competing...) up to the 2008 Olympia, and as long
one of them will win in Las Vegas, it will be great for Bodybuilding.

It'd be pretty close and you wouldn't begrudge either winning. I'd probably side with Wolf on account of Heath's narrow structure.
If you're looking to compare heath with wolf, find a picture with wolf next to gustavo at the olympia.

That is a very logical scenario, Cutler as a favourite because Mr. O politics and Wolf will be favourable over Heath because Olympia rewards size and Dexter Will fall a place because Wolf and Heath will bring top condition, hence Dexter will no longer stand out. This of course only counts if Victor sits out or competes off. The best top four pic IMO

heath has a few freakish parts, but outside of a few flaws (calves, slightly lagging lats) wolf is just amazing.
heath's obliques totally mess up his flow, meanwhile wolf's waist is almost comically tight for how big he is. heath has the same problem as victor: despite all the parts being freaky, they come together and just don't look right. wolf is nearly the ideal if he'd add some calf size. look at that ab/thigh!!

either way it looks like we finally have a potential 1-2 punch that the fans actually like. Than again according to Cutler what do the fans know anyway. ::)
