Obama supporters have been going to colleges and getting kids to vote early.

Camp Clinton very nervous about this incredibly huge early turnout.

I live in Florida.  My vote didn't matter in the dem primary (I'm a registered independent).

I am so sick of the democratic process.  I've voted repub my whole life, and my whole family has too.

but it looks like we may vote dem next time.  Just for the economy.  For health insurance for my little neice that isn't covered.  My family has it, but relatives don't have any health insurance.  I know, rich people hate the idea (label is socialism).  But when my neice gets sick, you can call it a shit sandwich, I'll be glad its in place for her.

So I probably will vote dem.  i'd love to see Obama choose a Wes Clark for a running mate, or a Jim Webb, possibly more likely, for strong military and defense credibility.

The government already pays out trillions of dollars in entitlements and now more things are being promised. I'm really wondering where all the money is gonna come from?

stop spending so much on the war.

stop corporate tax breaks - why are oil firms getting breaks when they're earning record profits.

stop bush tax cuts for the rich.

tax the rich more if needed - they did really well the last 7 years.

I don't like it when people equat being rich to being evil.

You'll only be chasing potential jobs away if you go thst route.

not evil.  cyclical.

from 80 to 92, the rich did well under repubs.

from 92 to 00, the poor/midd class did well under dems.

from 01 to 07, the rich did well under repubs.

It's cyclical.  Time for a dem to cut the rich tax breaks.  It's a pendulum that goes back and forth.

;D  Nice thought, 240, but that's not how it works.

the "rich" are just going to get richer for the most part, unless they decide to bet the farm on something stupid. Althought sometimes new tax laws can come into force surprisingly quickly.

in 2006 I was living in Hong Kong when the Bush tax "cut" raised taxes for expats making more than 85k or thereabout (which would sweep in all expats living in Hong Kong).  THe new rate was retroactive and there were some seriously pissed people in Hong Kong.   ;D

But remember, even these taxes were only on income....
