A POLICEMAN was knocked unconscious and several people were taken to hospital after officers were called to shut down seven out-of-control parties in Western Australia overnight.

At about 10pm, Transperth security officers notified police that the bus they were on had dropped off dozens of youths at a house in Coniston Way, Balga, where people were fighting in the street.

Thirty-one police vehicles, Polair, the canine and horse units were deployed to disperse the 200 revellers. While attempting to arrest a partygoer, a male police officer from Mirrabooka was kicked in the back of the head by a female and knocked unconscious,  ;D PerthNow reports.

He was taken to Sir Charles Gardiner Hospital for scans. The female and three other people were arrested. The crowd was dispersed within an hour.

Meanwhile, just after 10pm about 100 youths at a party in Clarkson were throwing bottles at passing vehicles.

Police from the Regional Operations Group were deployed and shut down the party. There were no arrests.

At the same time, police attended a brawl involving about 50 people in Federal St, Kalgoorlie. Nobody was injured or arrested.

Back in Perth, a wild party in Westfield Rd, Seville Grove resulted in several teenagers being taken to Armadale Hospital after fighting broke out in the street. Twelve police vehicles attended and shut down the gathering.

At about 10.30pm, 20 Regional Operations Group vehicles were called to shut down a party in Apply St, Maddington after 70 partygoers began fighting.
And at 11pm police dispersed about 100 youths fighting at a party in Nuytsia Ave in Karey Park.

Fifteen minutes later, police were deployed to move on 50 people fighting at a party in Burns Place, in Burns Beach and at 12.15am a party was shut down after 30 people were brawling in Hands Ave, Karey Park.

Duty inspector Mal Anderson said that some residents took exception to police shutting down out-of-control parties in their street.

Only in Australia can you have a 50 person brawl where no one is injured. A true testament of strength.

Or that they were 50 pussies.

That cop should just quit. How could you go on in the job after that.
