Yeah, I'm in. He's a mass monster and compared to Branch and Wolf, Ramy takes it IMO. Hope he brings a Ruhl 2001 NOC look and it'll be game over.

I think he'll get the 4th spot. 3rd would be very very good for him. A great launching pad. If they place him second, that will mean he deserved to take it all and Phil better up the dosage next year.

Yeah I agree. I think it'll do the sport some good though. Haven't really seen a fellow jump in the ranks out of nowhere since "The Shadow"
As long as Dennis doesn't fill him out too much....judges will be taking off for guts this year.
At 4 weeks out while training Ramy looked to be able to tighten his stomach very good. But, his distention is really only noticeable from the side angles, he has a long torso thankfully.

I have a feeling he will be out of the top 4, possibly out of the top 6. But impossible to say until
we see the guys line up. 30 seconds after they line-up we will see if he has a shot at a top spot.

Not familiar with this Hebrew tradition but I will say that a large amount of blood is rushing to my you-know-what as I await the bodybuilding.com live webcast to cue up. I'm sending the ole lady out with her girls Saturday night so I can have the place to myself. Will pose along with each of the open class competitors. Will be glorious.

yes, i think we should all honour the brave muscle soldiers who will do the battle on stage later this evening by doing mandatory poses in the safety of our homes, if we can not physically support our troops in Vegas i think this is the least we can do

Jay was out of it. Looked okay but not for him. Sort of like Arnold in 1980. Dexter looked great except for his calves. Dennis didn't impress me that much. Weird body.
Shawn Roden was fabulous but seemed a bit light on the top. Kai was good but not what we expected. Too much size instead of cuts.
Phil shone in the standard poses. Well, FDB and BDB. Contest over.
Ramy could have been second in a fair contest.

Ramy's back disappears (rhomboideus) right in the middle. And he has those wrinkles...big but lacking detail. Just like big dudes from the past. The hype is over, unless he does something drastic for the night show.

Ramy somehow tried too hard. Everybody said that the competition would be so much tougher than at the NY Pro that he wanted to come in even bigger and as full as possible. Had he known how poor the competition really is (this is probably the worse actual line-up I've seen since those shitty editions where Baddell got third), he would have played it safe (or safer) and would have gotten a top 6 placing easy and probably 4th.

Rami is future Mr olympia for sure.he was not as tight as he was at NY pro.still good enough to be 6th.he beat jay hands down.i think he can keep dennis james as only offseason coach and hire chris aceto for precontest prep.i think people sponsoring him can afford that.

Yes, he did seem better in NY. But I definitely had him beating Jay at all angles. And I was rooting for Jay. Also, big shocker to see Roelly all blown up like that. A little smooth but that guy was huge. But I find it hard to believe that at 5'6" he weighed 285 lbs as listed. Ramy I think was listed at 289 and he's 5'10"

i too wanted jay to do well in his last olympia although i am not a fan of his physique and yes ramy and roelly both should have beaten him..
