I.e “what the fuck is wrong with you!” And “are you trying to kill somebody!” “How can you afford this car?” “What do you do as a job?” He told me to get out. I gave him my ccl card, even though I wasn’t carrying. And this fool started to open my glove box. So I hit him with the “i do not consent to a search“. Cop got mad and called the dogs on me. Backup cop started with the “why do you need a gun?” I’m like becuase it is my right, and I travel a lot for work. Anyway, after about an hour, I was free to go and cop gave me a ticket with 15 miles over the limit on the ticket! If I was black, I would probably have been shot.

They can arrest you for reasonable suspicion. You can ask if you are under arrest of free to go. But I believe they can still hold you for 48 hours or something.

Obstructing the enforcement of a traffic violation. Some states call it obstruction and some call it hindering. You need to comply with the requirements of driving. That includes identifying yourself to a legal standard so a cop can write a ticket.
