gh is also one of the main factors in distended abdomens. enlarges the intestines..
also, visceral fat from over "bulking" in the offseason, and slin usage.
im also partial to believe that there is a little truth in john romano's theory that the massive amounts of food bodybuilders consume stretches out the stomach. just a little bit though.

I don't use GH and never have.....but I don't buy that, give me some research to back it up, because all the research I've read said nothing about that.

this is just what a guy who used to copete that works at my gym told me. ...he was a top level npc competitor, but he got injured...showed me pics..was pretty big..    btu anyways, he said that he used gh, and it maade his stomach distend, and every body else did too. he said matarzzo only got a distended gut once he started buying gh from him. (matarazzo lives in the next town over)

  I pointed out this in a thread a week ago or so, that insulin blurrs out conditioning because it increases glycogen synthesis inside the muscles and thus causes water retention, but lots of morons laughed at me. Insulin makes your muscles super-full but also super-soft. If you want to see an insulin body, look no further than the current Mr.Olympia and Jean-Pierre Fux during his competitive years. Guys with very hard muscles, like Dorian or shawn Ray up to 1996, never used insulin. :)

Yep.  I've always been a big fan of Ray's physique, which compared to the trash you see on today's stages represents the "classical" physique I think.  I'd also put Levrone at his best near the same level.

Probably true, he has that oldschool look. probably only used test+dbol etc... none of that new crazy stuff.

  You can have lots of subcutnaeous water and still be striated because just like in the case of muscular separations there is a genetic component. however, you cannot be super-hard while using insulin.
