I want to alert those who are buying the TITAN Katana that while the ply itself is extremely durable, and likely just cannot tear, the seam is not durable.

I am hoping that TITAN will redesign the shirt, making the way the arm seam go more traditional, and find a more durable seam altogether.

Background: Two lifters from my club have both been tearing their seams when going at it. Since one of them tried to reinforce the shirt before lifting in it, sew the seam with stronger thread, he won't get a new shirt.

So 4 shirts later, and they're forced to use the old NXG. Too bad really.

They were doing easy thin board presses with 800 lbs+.

One of them went well over 900 lbs with the board.

Hopefully TITAN can sort this construction mishap out.

Thank goodness TITAN has one of the best warranties in PL gear.

Thank goodness TITAN has one of the best warranties in PL gear.

Problem with the warranty, is that if you modify the seam, it makes the warranty void.

And you will have to reinforce the seam, because the ply ain't never gonna break.

Fcuking durable, probably only the strongest lifters will be able to lift in it.

I think we will see a 660+ lbs lift by Daike Kodama in the near future IMO.

Maybe 5 inches for the 900 lbs lift?
