I find later in the Day best. I like cardio later too, direct after my weight workout. I feel more "awake" and your body is more warmed up.

With my job im forced to workout at night....but i do always feel more awake and alert and most of the times i have better concentration. It just sucks that i cant have alot of carbs that late because i have to hit the hay about 1-2Hrs after im done.

My best/favorite time to train is mid-morning, after a substantial meal of high protein, some light carbs, at least 1/3 gallon of water, and strong coffee.
I don’t always get to do this, but it’s my first preference.

Preferably late afternoon, but because of work I go in the evenings. Can't stand early morning.

I feel substantially weaker and more lethargic without at least one solid meal in me.
Shakes don't cut it; gotta be food.

i train late

in the evening

approximately 9 pm

very few people there

at this time

and i can move around without losing equipment

also....i can concentrate better

less noise.....less distractions.....unless of course

a nice little gal comes in with

short shorts on

but i really do prefer nightime training

just seems to be a better time for me

and less congestion in the gym

thanks everyone!

I have been trying the 7-8am workouts last 3 weeks and LOVE it!! always been late night lifter but with work, I often feel tired. Been trying a pre workout supp and its been great just like to see what others think too.

I do work a 9-5 job so if i stick with mornings, itll be 6am :( but going to try it and do cardio at night

8:30 Am - protein shake in H2O pre-training + protein shake in H2O post-training, at times with some carbs but only after training and cardio are done, never before training.

I will have my pre workout BCAAs, NO, and protein pre workout and then carbs/protein BCAAs after

I like to not include carbs so I can burn more fat

I get my best workouts in the middle of the afternoon (like 2:00 - 3:00) but being employed makes it difficult to fit those in frequently.

After meal 3 - usually around 1PM.  An hour before I lift I eat a typical meal of turkey and green veg. On the way to the gym I might have an apple or grapes and a bucket of coffee...
