That said...the fact that you're here on a BB site starting a debate about the clothes I wear, speakes volumes
Anyone who knows a thing or two about fine clothes, knows that the cost is not the main factor. I could show you many expensive suits that don't hold a candle to a Zegna suit. Zegnas are over a grand, but they wear better than many suits x3 times their cost. It's all about the quality, the way you wear the suit and how it's tailored.
In regards to expensive clothing, the same rules apply. Simply shopping at Barneys or Louis does not make you a style aficionado.....and the cost of a particular garmet has little to do with how good it looks on you.
Dressing normal is no fun. A fine black suit with some form of patterned shirt with a patterneed tie is very stylish. As long as the jacket is solid you can mix and match patterns on the shirt and on the tie. I say to wear a black suit as a pro since you are so massive it throws off the look of the suit. A black suit will minimize this and "slim" you down a tad. Wear a bright tie to stand out.
I know all this because I meet with a lot of CEO's for work and I am forced to look sharp on a daily basis.
