I find Rich Piana to be a cool, laid back , likeable dude.
He's got a great sense of how to market his brand and has a lot of charisma.

I only wish that more of the actual pros were entertaining like him.
Jay is great with fans and comes across as wholesome. Sport needs more of BOTH types.

Syntholed PMMAd people like that should be lifetime banned from all bodybuilding shows and any other associated activity taking place as part of the event including expos, seminars, and whatever.

I'd agree with that sentiment, IF and only if, the IFBB enforced rules against synthol, huge tats and excessive drug use.
They don't, so , all that stuff has a unique popular niche within the world of hardcore BB.

I had conventional people and values up the wazoo in my former career ( recently retired).
While I prefer bodybuilders who dress, look and behave like Jay Cutler and Lee Haney, I'm not a snob.
I find characters like Rich Piana help make bodybuilding entertaining.
BUT, I don't think the majority need to be like Rich, maybe just ...5%.

Almost all IFBB Pros use synthol and the like in one way or another.

Wouldn't be a huge fan of the 5% lifestyle and I wouldn't wait in line to meet him but he was clearly being respectful to and engaging with the people lining up to meet him. Yes he's selling product but he seems genuinely friendly in that clip, in particular with the older couple.
