My work is up north in a camp setting. I work twelve hour days plus I still have to commute to site. I'm quite tight on time for working out so I have to be as efficient as possible.
I was doing two body parts per day but I think I'd like to keep it at one due to time. An extra twenty to forty minutes of sleep can make a huge difference when you work twelve hour days.
I was thinking about doing this
Day 1 Tris
2 Back
3 Quads
4 Biceps
5 Abs/Calves
6 Shoulders
7 Hamstrings
8 Chest
And keep on doing this on an eight day rotation. I will take a rest day when needed. Doing one body part per day doesn't seem like much but I'm pretty thorough and strict on form. I don't pump out fast reps right now.
I am currently maintaining/gaining. I'm not sure if I will compete in 2013 or not. Mentally I don't know if I want to diet....especially working up North where the food is free and exquisite.
I am natural......if I choose to try and build muscle am I working out these parts enough? On my off days I can do two body parts per day.....but when I'm working I really only have time for one.
Let's discuss.......how is this for a 135 pound natural female?

What are your goals?

What are your goals?
I think gain muscle......but my diet will really dictate my goals.
I guess I want to know that if I want to gain muscle am I working out each body part frequently enough? And If I'm trying to lose fat will I maintain a decent amount of muscle on this? Of course diet plays a part in each.....but I'm curious about what people think about this plan.

I have sort have underwent a transformation since last Summer and learned a ton of things that contradict convrntional wisdom training wise.
To gai muscle - forget about stsying lean - just eat and lift. Do heavy compound exercises and eat enough but stsy off the scsle.
-
I guess I just want to make sure I can gain or at least not lose muscle with the frequency I am working each body part......especially being a natty female.
It takes me fucking forever to build muscle. Which I'm okay with....if I was gung ho I'd start cycling....I just really don't want to lose.
And if I compete this year it will only be bikini so I don't need to be Iris Kyle.

What precisely is your question? I don`t understand what you are trying to ask.

1. Chest
2. Back
3. Optional rest day
4. Quads
5. Shoulders
6. Arms (superset bi's and tri's to save time)
7. Hamstrings, Calves
8. Optional rest day
Train calves with quads when you have time. Train abs at least once per week whenever you have time. (I usually superset abs with hamstrings because it helps to relieve lower back pump.)

I just want your opinion on this program really. Pros, cons, what it would be good or bad for.

Camp setting of peace... ::)

But if I'm doing hams/quads and tris/bis isn't that TWO body parts....hence taking up too much time which is what I wanted to get rid of?
Or are you saying to do less reps on my tri/bi/quad/ham?

I think having one day devoted to biceps and one devoted solely to triceps is rather pointless.
You will get more efficiency doing compound movements, supersets, giant sets, especially the latter two for biceps and triceps.

I appreciate this input.
Anybody else disagree or agree with this?
So I usually do three different exercises four sets of each......if I did two exercises of each and supersetted.......would this be efficient? I have fairly good tris but I would like bigger bis. The tris are from my younger years of cross country skiing.

Can't disagree with TA, he's the wizard of natural bodybuilding.

x2 for compounds
Alternate opposite muscles, very easy to do chest and back together effectively.
And prioritization. You may not really need an extra day for shoulders/tris

I would suggest to train each muscle twice per week, when gaining muscle mass is your main goal, like
1) chest, tris, abs
2) legs, delts & abs
3) back, bis & abs
and repeat
More frequency with moderate volume means more stimulation.
-
When you hitting the anavar?
When I'm ready to deal with the potential permanent side effects.
Which I'm definitely not at this point in time.
It may only be a 10% chance BUT that's enough to deter me. At least for now.

Two bigass long workouts per week?
Working twelves I could do this and sacrifice sleep for those two days.....but do you feel this really gets results??
-
I"ll never try "supplements" until I have my training and diet almost perfect regardless.
I have lots of room to improve in both at this point in time right now.
-
Train each muscle Group 1x per week. Concentrate on your workouts. i think you should do a 3 day split.
-
I know many of you won't understand this....but I would rather live with a little bit of cellulite than a permanent raspy voice or my clit a little bit bigger.
That's just me.

Two? No, it's a 3 day split, but in case you can't recover from this, you can try a 2 day split, like mo/tue & thu/fr, with rest on wed & during the weekend. A push-pull split is my favorite in this case:
1)quads, chest, front delts, tris & abs
2)hammies, back, side & rear delts, bis & abs
Your results depend on your recovery time/sleep, nutrition & individual factors. The best way to find out is to try various splits/frequencies.

Sound thinking, add some more thickness to your glutes and thighs instead of doing drugs of peace

Good choice!
cellulite doesn't really bother me, deep voice is frightening though.

We would first have to see said clit. Then we can observe any size changes.
