Title: Which US state has the most down to earth people on average?
Post by: Lord Chronos on June 16, 2013, 10:11:01 AM: Is there a US states or cities which could be considered to have the most down to earth people (least pretentous, materialistic)? If so which one?

Also are there states where american women realise that "sex in the city" is not actually reflective of real life?

Yes, Almost every person I've dealt with from there have been cool mellow folks. I've also had luck with folks from the Carolinas and Georgia.

I saw a guy kicking another guy on the ground in the south and he repeatedly called him sir as he kicked him. Other states you think they like you because they put on their phony smiles, manners and chat. You never know where you stand. In New Jersey if they don't like you they will tell you every time they see you. No phoniness and when they kick you they won't be calling you sir.
