Sweet!
I have to say Rome for architecture is just amazing.  The food though I wasn't that crazy about.  So many carbs (ie pizza, pasta)

Paris is my favorite for cuisine.  Funny everybody there looks at you weird when you order 5 eggs for breakfast though.  Was hard to get eggs for breakfast.

Yeah I agree, food in Rome is def. not as good as in Paris.  In the provinces in Italy you tend to get the better cuisine IMO.  I can't remember the name of it offhand, but there's an excellent (and big) cafe/brasserie right on Place Saint Michel, on the corner of Blvd Saint Michel and facing the fountain statue of St. Michael.  Every time we go to Paris I make sure to stop by for some mussels, fries, and some good Belgian beer.

On the whole I think Paris is my favorite city in the world.  So much history and culture and cooking and fine skinny Parisian babes walking around in knee-high black boots. :P

Barcelona is my top.  Such a cool place.  I lived there for a year my junior year in University.

Ditto, Barca is my favourite city in the world.. Las Ramblas is always alive..always something happening somewhere in the city.

Good to see some valid feedback in this thread as well some smart and interesting people.

A few bad apples but that's bound to occur on a public forum.

 LMAO

I assume you're kidding.  At least the value part is right.
Nope. The days of the Chilean wines avec antifreeze are long gone. They're now making some nice wines. I didn't realize you were going to make this into a wine snob thread.  ::)    ;)

lol @ sommelier's palate.  I appologize if I do sound like a wine snob.  Wine, like art, is matter of opinions.

Director of Business Development for a software company.
I get sick of travel for work as it gets me out of routine. However I have an awesome secretary that always has local gyms pinpointed and printed out once she books travel arrangements.

I guess i'm the only one that thinks Paris sucks.  Had a much better time in Krakow, Prague, Rome and Dubrovnik.

I'd have to say none of the above mentioned suck.  I have been to all.  I think a lot depends on what your going for and what your interests are.

Don't forget Paris has one of the best if not the best museums in the world. Also the cuisine and night life are great.

I had some of my greatest meals of all time in Rome and Florence. In Paris, all I had were Ham and Cheese sandwiches, but that may have been a side product of not leaving the airport.
