usually im content to just read teh board but i love doin pull ups so i will be shamelessly posting in an effort to reach 100 by the deadline

100 posts is not ridiculous. People who dont contribute anything but wish to take the prizes are ridiculous. Now start a lifting log or something useful rather than whining about the rules of an online contest.

I like to join too! How many chin ups are you able to do? I reckon i can reach 30 at around 220 pounds on a good day

well before i broke my hand I could do quite a few at a bodyweight of 240, but grip is definately gonna be a limiting factor because the contest is so soon

Lift4size...not only have i posted vids and pics and contributed when i felt necessary but most importantly i did NOT give any fellow lifter unwarrented advice...people throw around advice and comments on this board like crazy not realizing that giving someone the wrong training program/advice is like a pharmacist handing out the wrong prescription

i post on things that i have knowledge to post on

other than that i dont add to things which are beyond my knowledge or my idea of relvent

I think that is reasonable too! Next contest may require more posts to compete. The idea here is that you can win these contests for being a regular and valuable contributor on GetBig. If anyone could just come on and say "Heres my vid! Trust that its me in the video, I even wrote my name on a piece of paper..." then we would have a ton of fake entries and get no board members out of it. We want to promote GetBig, the PL/Strongman board, and the sponsors.

Is that so bad?

I think one of the requirements should also be is to go down to the x board, and look at my lifting vids and make comments like......gosh geo you're really strong or damn geo,I wish I was like you (or something to that effect)

its not unreasonable i guess but since when did # of posts equate ones board value? jus sayin i think a sheet of paper with ur getbig name on it would suffice

Actually bro the training board and the powerlifting board are pretty much the only places on this forum that are pretty much free of that shit.
