Seems to me the guys that just got blown up in Iraq deserve a couple of minutes in primetime...shit they are lucky if they even get their faces on the networks.

It's one big clusterfucked world.

The outpouring of love, memory, and recognition in the more conservative parts of the country is a pretty good testament to their sacrifice. Wrestlers are entertainers and it seems reasonable to assume a tribute through the same venue. It's not a soldiers job to be on TV.

As for Iraq....the WWE actually goes over there.....and they show a lot of the troops.

Vince has spent more time in Iraq & Afghanistan than any of the heads of any network news division or any of their anchors. Blame the networks. Why blame Vince? All he's doing is a 3 hour tribute towards one of his employees.

this is what i was thinking too

im watching raw right now and i think its a nice idea. they even showed when he won the belt and him celebrating with his wife and son.
the one problem i have is what if its determined that chris killed them? is it right to be celebrating him like this and showing him in a loving moment with the people he (may have)killed?

Can we just comment on the passing of Chris Benoit. I have a brother in the USMC who's been over to Iraq twice in 2 years. Whether you're for the war or against, this thread really isn't the thread. RIP Rabid Wolverine.....met Chris several times when the WWE came to RI and they boys would work out at my gym. He was always will to converse as was the Big Show. my condolences to his two children who where in Canada. What a loss for them.

2. Benoit was one of the hardest working guys in the business.

I have a feeling it is a homicide. But the thing is he supposedly had to leave yesterdays show because of a "family emergency"

so I'm guessing he went home, found his wife and son dead..and then took his own life.

Even if it was a homicide, suicide, you have to understand there must have been severe mental illness with whoever pulled the trigger.
