Directly after the Mr O Press Conference, the Guns Vs Goodrum Press Conference will take place. It will be at the same venue so if anyone is attending, don't run out the door after Ronnie and Jay get finished. Come see the show after the show,

You know, almost every novice and junior is a dreamer when they first compete. What they see in the mirror is often a lot more impressive than what others see or that cameras see. Those who have never bought posing trunks, shaved and got in a lineup on stage in front of an audience have no idea how much courage it takes. We take it for granted here but most people think bodybuilding is bizarre. I take my hat off to Goodrum for stirring up a lot of interest in what is hardly anything at all physique wise. That doesn't diminish the interest these two dudes generate. Goodrum has brought his crowd stirring antics to Getbig and look at all the fuss he is causing. He is the Cool Hand Luke of Getbig! Sometimes 'no' physique can be very cool, indeed.
I have seen beginners standing at the back of the audience when trophies were presented and the looks of their faces show they still have hope they might have won something.

Goodrum has good genetics. If he came to my gym for a year everyone on Getbig would respect him. Matter of fact, when I look at the back double biceps shot by the waterfall I see a resemblance to Shawn Ray. Melvin said he was related to a pro so who knows?
Can anyone imagine the excitement going through Goodrum's mind if he is in Las Vegas? Any sightings yet?

Tell the truth, IFBB contests suck. Very few are fair dinkum and we know beforehand who is going to
win lose. Goodrum represents the wannabe and dreamer in all of us. Good luck if he gets some attention. I am just pushing his bandwagon. It is all fun.

Goodrum quotes from the MD thread re the showdown with Billy Guns.
With cheap disposable cameras and they are not recent. I am about 8 weeks out now from the Elite so its all good. My legs are huge and thick, abs are showing which is unusual at this time for me, and I'm still thick as a brick.
The key to my win will be in overall brutal mass. I intend to come in as thick as possible...not shredded...but thick.
Billy you can laugh at conditioning but you know you can't laugh at muscle mass as I obviously have more. And then you'll even have to beat me in conditioning as well.
Overall, this event will be fun and this is for the people. Everyone wanted to see this happen and now we are a few days away fromt the event. Getbig VS MD. Billy VS Vince.
Who's going to win....ME of course but you never know. For all I know Billy could have been taking a gram of test a day....

I use Hawaiian Tropic Dark Tanning Oil which is practically in every supermarket. I never use Protan nor would I need it to begin with.
You'll find out soon enough whether I'm fat or lean for this event.....
Fact is that Billy has no picture up that can match mine even in conditioning. If he did, then he would have already put up his pre-contest pictures to prove me wrong.
Billy isn't in any condition whatsoever and he sure as hell can't outmuscle me. This is a done deal.

As far as my conditioning, its not contest condition but good enough to whip Billy pretty good because I expect him to not have any.
His conditioning was much worse than mine 2 weeks ago which is obvious in the pictures so what the fuck am I worried about???
I'm solid and thick and I'm proud of my work in increasing my muscle mass. Once he see my quads and calves in real life, he'll be crushed. Then the arms pop out and he'll be sobbing backstage.

His conditioning cannot be any better than mine especially since he was fatter than me two weeks ago. There's only so much cardio he can do and he could not have done more than me.
His conditioning will be equal if not worse than mine and that will be the end of the contest because he will be too skinny to match me
Im at a terminal computer at the airport in Atlanta. When I checked in,, security looked at all of my supplements and seized every last one of them even though they were in three oz bottles!!!!!

I'm back at the hotel and we just did the Press Conference about 2 hours ago. The whole Muscle Mob was out there and I finally got to meet Billy. He is a lot taller than I thought. I must have shrunk or something But I didn't think 5 inches would make a difference. He was covered up so I couldn't make out any details. I was covered up as well for the upper body and I wore shorts to make sure that the calves were in full view.
Dave is much smaller than the last time I seen him 8 years ago at his seminar but he is still freaky looking. Romano is much older now than the last time I saw him prob over 10 years ago when it was All Natural MD. I met Collette for the first time and I really couldn't believe how fucking big she is. She could easily bench press some 45's
I would have stayed around a bit longer after the Press Conference but I had Jet Lag and because my supplements were seized, I had to hit Walgreens.
Friday, I will be at the Expo around 10am so say hey if you see me

Just spoke with Melvin at the hotel. He was very polite and courteous. He said Billy was a pleasant guy as were the others from the MD camp who are all trying to keep this fair dinkum and professional. He didn't sound at all like the guy who posts here! Just sounded like a regular guy.

Hey, Rocket, nice to see you on Team Goodrum. I spoke to Melvin and I guess he was a bit suspicious of anyone calling. Polite as anything with no hint of he-man or confident dude. Just plain Melvin Goodrum! I expected some fire like on his site but no such luck. Maybe he is being on his best behaviour before the showdown.
Looking at that photo of Billy Guns I would say Melvin totally psyched him out and Guns has bulked up. Game over, Goodrum wins with better legs. Can we visualize Goodrum posing with that frown among those fitness babes!! :o

A lot of haters here owe Goodrum an apology. They doubted that he would show. Well, there you are, wrong again. He showed at the Metrolina and no one there to record clear images except the official photographer. So what if the 'press conference' was held in the parking lot? Someone should have been there to record it and get Goodrum's responses. Not good enough, fellas.
