Title: Superbowl XLIX - Brilliant just Brilliant (Seahawks)

Seahawks star Richard Sherman says they cracked Peyton Manning's hand signal code during the Super Bowl so they were able to predict every play

Goes back to John Fox being a horrible coach and not having his team use a whole new set of signals to be ready for something like this.  The Chargers defense figured it out but their offense did shit against Denver.

Carroll IS a great coach. That said, I would never loan him the keys to my car or front door.

Don't recall hearing "Omaha" once during the game. That's actually a significant change whether it meant anything or not.

Fox barely has a say in anything they do offensively. The guy went out with a heart attack and Peyton broke record after record with Fox at home most of the year. There isn't anything Fox could have done to help Peyton's offense. Manning wouldn't allow it. In Indy, Peyton was notorious for not letting the 2nd string QB get any reps. Didn't want him anywhere near him. Peyton(not exactly a team guy).

Peyton Manning gets rid of the ball quicker than almost anyone in the NFL...Because so, he doesn't see the whole field. So watching where his eyes go will almost always tell you where the ball goes. And if it was say 3rd and 7, all Seattle did was give Denver's receivers the lane for 5 yards and crush them right there all night long. Manning was in way over his head against the likes of Sherman and his crew...Sherman is going to change the way GM's pick their defensive backs. I think we'll see teams go after guys with brains and just athletic ability...

In tennis, the relationship between the returner and the server is similar with the hitter/pitcher in baseball. You need to read the server and work the percentages and viceversa. That's why I enjoy watching baseball.

Dude, no lie - right before the play, my 11 year old says "they won't pass it here, it's too risky and there's no reason to".

I mean, the call defies belief.  There was no reason at all for it.

I'm not mad, I thought the game would be a tossup.  I'm only bummed it didn't place my bets - Lynch + 92.5 yds, Brady over 1.5 TD,  Eddleman over 6 receptions and Katy Perry wearing a skirt.  I decided last minute to just keep was I was up for the year since I was struggling with the game.  Probably cost me about $500.  OOOOOPS.

Something to wonder.................. ....

Lynch has been grabbing his cock when he scores big TDs.  He did it 2 weeks ago, then grabbed it again when shaking hands with teammates celebrating.  Deviant behavior and disgusting.  The NFL said the team would be penalized 15 yards if he did that shit today.  They watched on TD #1 he scored.

NOW, if he scores TD #2, they win the game, and 15 yards doesn't matter one bit.   Does the SEA coaching staff know this... and decide they'd rather get a TD from a WR and not give Beastmode the chance to further embarass the team by winning the super bowl and jerking his penis while doing it?   Caroll admitted last week that even he cannot stop Lynch from doing it.   Was "denying him the SB winning TD" a move to prevent him from grabbing penis, and forcing ESPN to play the crotch grab 1000 times?

I think they wanted to win - but their secondary goal was to let another man get the TD, to keep Lynch from touching genitals on television.  Beastmode was a LAST RESORT to score there.   Makes sense why they'd take ball out of his hands in final seconds.

Brady's likely been sinking the ball since 2007, when he successfully lobbied to condition his own footballs for games.

Brady (with an absolutely full ball today) missed a shitload of open WRs and TEs.   He isn't accurate all the time with a regulation ball.  easily 6 or 8 missed passes to wide open guys, fewer than 20 yards away.  His tiny hands don't like the full ball.

Where do you come up with these stupid theories? You seriously arent all there.

Where do you come up with these stupid theories? You seriously arent all there.

Caroll admits she cannot control Lynch, cannot stop piecemode from grabbing his junk.

then, on final set of plays, when Lynch can deliver perhaps the greatest TD run in SB history (and will likely grab his pee pee), Caroll inexplicably delivers a play call which REMOVES Lynch from the play.   it makes no sense to anyone.  UNLESS you remember he doesn't like the dickgrab, doesn't like the fact he cannot stop it, and maybe is exercising the only move he has, to keep that junk from happening.  He figures he'll get the win anyway - there's a good chance russell just runs it in anyway.

Is Caroll - himself a huge 911 CT who "thinks outside the box" just making this move to diss Lynch?  (Petey, of course, believing he'll get the TD anyway, with 3 tries from 1/2 yard).

cock grabs x 2 last week.
pretending to poop on the field this week.
starting a fight during the kneel-down which nearly degraded into a brawl.

now the OC is blaming the WR for not catching the ball.  I'm convinced SEA is going to blow it up in the off-season.  Cut the shit attitude players and maybe some coaches.  When Caroll admitted he couldn't stop the cock grabbing, a second player did it last week, and now players taking shit on the field - we're talking millions of kids watching, and he pulls down britches and poops?   WWTF?

Michael Irvin on GameDayFinal said they were trying to make Russell Wilson the star and take attention away from Marshawn Lynch. Therefore, justifying paying Wilson and cutting Lynch in the offseason and justifying the call.

Millions fully expected the Seahawks to give the ball to Beastmode and have him find a way into the end zone when the O line walled down ,
( zone blocking). I suspect the Seahawks  offensive coordinator saw something in the Pat's red zone pass defense and tried to exploit it for the win.

Obviously that failed BUT it took an incredible play by the Pats cornerback to intercept it.

Looks like 911 Truther Pete Carroll might be overseeing the most disgusting thing in the history of American sports.

This man, and his supporters.  Culture of anti-Americanism.  Going all the way back to the way he cheated at USC.  Typical.

THE ENTIRE SEATTLE SEAHAWKS TEAM WILL PROTEST THE NATIONAL ANTHEM AT OPENING GAME

The Seattle Seahawks will become the first NFL team to join Colin Kaepernick’s silent protest during the national anthem this Sunday.

In their home opener against the Miami Dolphins, the Seattle Seahawks have planned a “big surprise” during the national anthem, according to starting linebacker Bobby Wagner. Wagner emphasized that the entire roster will take part in the protest, though he didn’t specify if the team would sit or kneel.

“Anything we want to do, it’s not going to be individual. It’s going to be a team thing. That’s what the world needs to see. The world needs to see people coming together versus being individuals,” Wagner told the Seattle Times.

The team has the support of head coach Pete Carroll, who recently stood up for cornerback Jeremy Lane when he sat during the national anthem in solidarity with San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick last Thursday before Seattle’s final preseason game against the Oakland Raiders.

“[Lane]’s pretty clear on what he did and what he was trying to express and I think it is very simple and so we’ll leave that up to him,” Carroll told the Times.

In addition to Lane and Wagner, starting wide receiver Doug Baldwin has publicly expressed support for Kaepernick on social media. After Kaepernick started receiving blowback for refusing to stand up for the national anthem, Baldwin defended the protest and cast Kaepernick’s critics as ignorant of what free speech entails.

If this is true this sucks.

But is it really all that surprising?

Carroll cheated a lot at USC.  Sanchise got to skate on the rape thing.  Reggie Bush got PAID to play.  Carroll was banging a student.  And he's hugely pro-Obama.

He badgered a 911 hero general, to the point where the man had to run to his car to escape Pete's badgering.

He's a low integrity individual who doesn't respect the sacrifice made by those who made this country what it is.  He's a bigger liberal than we've ever seen in the NFL.

I have to imagine the blowback will be HUGE.  I bet the NFL is ready give fines.  What a terrible way to start the season.

Coach, I've called Pete a low-integrity, anti-USA liberal for years now.  Are you ready agree with me now?

I didn't see anything of Carroll. You're a shill.

Did you read the article?

The team has the support of head coach Pete Carroll, who recently stood up for cornerback Jeremy Lane when he sat during the national anthem

What else does this man have to do, for you to admit he's a bleeding heart, anti-USA liberal?

maybe being the NFL isnt all that excited that one of their premiere teams is ready to take a big crap on the nation?

I guess nobody saw it coming in the super bowl, when a player pretended to "crap out" a football.

Classless fucks, the whole organizations. Culture of USC.

If it happens then count me out as a hawks fan for perpetuating a false narrative and outright lies caused by a racist administration.

props for that.

will it change your opinion of Carroll?

I've said he's a lib shitbag after he supported obama, cheated, banged a student, and badgered a 911 hero, chasing him to his car.

Will this be the moment you finally say "wow, I guess pete carroll kinda is a piece of crap"  ?

Help me out here. Why is 240 badgering Coach about Pete Carroll so much? Is coach a USC fan or a Carroll guy or both?

Pete Carroll is one of the biggest liberals in the history of sports.

he voted obama, oversaw Seadderall mess, paid reggie Bush to play, banged a student, and was chased off campus and labeled a cheater.  He also let mark sanchize skate after that little rape thing.

as a pro, his team has been classless.  his players walked all over them, and carroll chased down a 911 pentagon survivor general to question him aobut 911 CTers.   It was so bad, the elderly man had to run to his car to escape.

Coach has always said such sweet things about carroll, and I've always said Coach has a blind spot for Pete, since anyone who did a fraction of this would be a scumbag liberal.

Now that Pete is ready to oversee the worst protest in sports history - after saying this week he supports players doing this - I'm wondering if coach is finally ready to call Carroll a liberal.

haha, gold!!  ;D ;D ;D

Exactly. Why do you need to know anything about Carroll besides what you read, in order to form an opinion?

People make claims about politicians without knowing anything else, other than what they read.

Youre doing the same exact thing that people do with politicians, except youre applying it to a sports figure.

Some people suspect there's some sort of admiration or desire thing going on here.   Not sure.

Either way, if another coach was an obama supporter, cheated repeatedly, banged college chicks, was a 911 truther, and applauded his team for shitting on the national anthem, I suspect coach would be calling that coach a piece of crap.

For some reason, he has a soft spot for this pete carroll fellah.

How much do you? ???

Are you suggesting that personal knowledge of a public figure can't lead to a better understanding of them?

In hillarys case, neither of you know her personally, so it's not the same situation...

I'm suggesting there is no way Pete Carroll isn't a complete liberal.

Coach won't even defend the dude anymore.  He's applauding these teams shitting on our national anthem.... after a long history of liberal acts and statements.

Marshawn lynch talking about a comeback this year.

SEA still holds the rights to him.

I guess the liberal mindset and disrespect for our nation is just too much of a draw for Lynch.
