Anyone try the new "IP" injectable amps ?
« on: May 27, 2007, 06:50:35 AM »
I did a shot of 2 amps Test E. in my glute.
The area has gotten bit lumpy and is starting to hurt.
It is not hot though.
I may have just done a bad shot , I tried a new way of injecting.
Normaly I do it standing up so I can make sure I am in the muscle.
This time, I did it sitting down, so I may have missed the muscle and it may just be sitting underneath the skin.
What should I do ? Should I wait and see if it get's worse or shoud I think about getting it checked ?
I have never had a problem like this before!

No fever? I dont even consider going if no fever. Puss and a mushy big red swelling that is getting biger would change my mind, but that will likely come w/ a fever to boot. Got a definite red circle? Trace it w/ a sharpie to see if it grows. check out  DR FreakfestMd's "Got Puss" thread few weeks back.

We all wory in the back of our head about the sterility of the stuff... if its from a pharma corp I dont give it a thought... NEVER a problem in close to 10 yrs!  Wash the area first w/ hot water and anti-Bact soap.
They scrub the hell out of the area before they cut you 4 surgery. Get clean 1st helps a lot.

Does the amp actually have a needle on it?
