Miracle Reds Superfood
« on: October 06, 2015, 04:14:31 PM »
OK first of all, I hate the bogus term 'superfood', but Miracle Reds from MacroLife Naturals seems an interesting antioxidant supplement, esp with ingredients like acai, goji and mangosteen.

In short, these are the features as seen on their web page:

•19 Antioxidant-Rich Fruits and Berries
•Power of 670mg Plant Steroids
•Super ORAC Acai, Goji, Mangosteen & Turmeric
•Complete Anti-Aging Antioxidant Spectrum
•Supports the Maintenance of Good Health
•Promotes Healthy Immunity
•Perfect Post Workout Recovery Formula
•Nutrient-Rich Replacement for Juices & Sodas
•Non-GMO, Vegan, Gluten & Dairy Free
•Delicious Berry Taste

The ingredients table:

So far, I haven't found any objective reviews on this product, other than from a couple of re-sellers.
Has anyone ever tried this antioxidant supplement?

I digested my meals very well
I would take before bed and I really felt it helped me sleep better

I really like the MTS machine greens
It tastes great and I love all the stuff it has in it
I take it before bed and it's replaced my multi because it has 1 in it

I also take a1 sports cycle support powder

Thanks for sharing your experience, I appreciate.

Since I'm using unflavored whey post w/o, I want to add it as natural flavoring. It's prob also a great time for optimum digestion.

Maybe I will buy the greens later and consume that in the morning instead of tomato juice, or maybe both mixed.

So far, I've had 4-5 servings. It tastes good, maybe a bit sour, but that can be expected when no sweeteners or fillers are added.
I'm not sure if it's caused by the Miracle Reds, but my skin seems to be smoother and I feel a bit more energetic.

Spirulina is fine. Easy to swallow compared to kelp.

Looks like a good product. Organic and a good mix of ingredients...

The only odd thing is this? Do most supps contain lead? Ive never seen that warning I dont th ink:

WARNING: This product contains lead, a chemical known to the State of California to cause birth defects and other reproductive harm

Well, you don't live in California, so what are you worried about?

I've ordered their Macro Greens as well for use in the morning. Too bad they don't recommend it mixing it with juices like tomato juice that I normally drink in the morning, because they kill the 'friendly' bacteria from the MG.

Anyway, I've tried the first serving of Macro Greens on an empty stomach, along with some other supps. Due the added stevia it tastes pretty OK.
