I love watching people leg press and not bring it down any further than the support bars original place.
They push it up, drop the bars and then not let the stack go any further down than the safety rack position.
I use to think the exact same thing till I injured my back. I can't go deep anymore. I did legs today and was embarrassed at my range of motion
