No, of course not. The only way that would happen is if I (or a young person) broke a growth plate. See the artical I wrote on youth training, when is the right time to start" on my site.

Yes, genetics. I think the tallest person in my family is like 5'9-10. My son however probably has the best chance at being tall since his brother (half brother) is 6'5 and 20 years old. But he's the tallest in his family.
