I bet that's the figure Dana himself puts out there. If the fighters knew they would strike. Their pay per view is huge. They sell out every venue. I bet every UFC they are taking in 50 million plus. When Money Mayweather fights he gets 20 million plus. These UFC cards are taking in just about as much money as his fights. 400k is chump change to them.

Guys use to say the same thing about Weider and bodybuilders. They should just be happy to get what they get. Maybe a fighter Union could make them pay the fighters their due. These guys have a very short shelf life before they are ruined from fighting.

Yes true...But if a guy makes it to the UFC, in most cases he becomes like a local hero in his city to all the wannabe fighters and tuff guys...From there they can do quite well training people and what not. The sky really is the limit for these guys...There's no reason they can't make a good living from the publicity that they will receive...But you have to be a hustler and get with the right people to make it happen...

I know a couple guys that just competed on TUF, used the notoriety to open studios and are making a pretty good living.  TUF was a brilliant move by the UFC and I still don't miss an episode.
