Title: On the 45th anniversary of MLK's "I have a dream" speech
Post by: 240 is Back on July 03, 2008, 02:58:24 PM
On the final night of the convention...

The Dems have a 76,000 open air stadium in Denver.

Obama is going to speak on the 45th anniversary  of MLK's "I have a dream" speech.

Could be something historical.  Will be tough for repubs to follow it a few weeks later.

Ahh, so he's planning on exploiting MLK to further his own political agenda? Sounds great.

I'm sure it will be some run of the mill speech that the media makes out to be the greatest thing ever said.  ::)

What I'm learning about Obama is his speeches have a short shelf life.  Don't hear much talk about the great race speech anymore and it really hasn't helped his poll numbers.
