gayer then "paying attention to a thread"

Gayer then not understanding that some classics should be payed attention to.

It would be great if my colleagues Grape Ape and CalvinH could reach agreement.

You sound like the kind of guy who would return to a board after a layoff and center their text.

Just a little moderate sparring to keep us sharp for when the next tiny tit comes along needing a owning.

When visiting people for dinner I like to have all kinds of food limitations just for fun.

"Sorry, I only eat whole wheat bread, no dairy, hate broccoli, doing keto this year, going vegan, no sugar, nut allergy, etc."

When I saw the OP in the board listing, I'll confess to a little moment of thinking "Well look at that - Man of Steel is back!" ...before I realised it is of course a bump from the past... :-\

Pity, I used to enjoy the back-and-forth he had with some of our... er... less religious Board Bros... ;D

Yeah I remember this thread.....
This shouldn't even be an issue. Many of the normal Thanksgiving dishes, can make for a damn good meal, if you are a bodybuilder.

He'll, it wouldn't even need to be considered a cheat meal, unless you gorge yourself unnecessarily. Even then, it's one meal and you would shit most of it out anyway.

What you really have to ask yourself, is why are you so addicted to bodybuilding/fitness, that you think ONE meal will ruin everything?

You can get great results by following a meal plan 75%, with a full cheat day included.

Phil Heath used to eat tilapia at the movie theater.

There is no excuse for missing a bodybuilding meal and staying anabolic.

The food comes to this GetBigger!!  ::)

Really though, I stay home w/ the dog. Wife and Kids go to the Inlaws and then bring me back tons of leftovers.

I see everyone (wife/kids 24x7, and my Ma and Inlaws every weekend) so no need for me to "visit" during holidays. Both families (mine, hers) are loud/whacky Italians.
(Im only half).

The half that doesnt like being around loud-whacky Italians during holidays. (They step up the "crazy-game" in a major way).

That literally makes no sense. You see them all of the time, but when it comes to holidays where you should be with family, you bow out.

I'm guessing, that you are a black sheep of the family.

If it looks anything like his sausage and gravy concoction I should hope not!

Youre guessing wrong. Who says people "NEED" to be w/ family during holidays, especially when seen all the time.

Do you do everything you "NEED" to do, dictated by Hallmark and cult-like calendars? (Easter, Xmas, etc)?
People can do as they please and no-one (but you) has issue w/ it...

I hardly spend anytime with my family at all
I have a brother I see about every two years on average
My son I hardly ever see , he has kids that are annoying
I have in-laws I never see either

I find other people taxing

I have no male friends, I only speak to a few women, apart from my wife I dont spend any real quality time with anyone.

I actually feel the same way you do, but it's the opposite at the same time.

I only see my extended family maybe once or twice a year. I roll my eyes when the "Holidays" come around, because it's like everyone is magically connected at the hip, all of a sudden.

However, I always have a great time in the end.

But I only see them a few times a year. If you see them as much as you say, then you better believe that they talk shit about why you are absent, on the most important holidays.

To be honest, I'm getting all "Mr. Scrooge", about the holidays. Not only are they rooted in mostly fake, Pagan history, I have a bunch of over zealous Christians.

The amount of eye rolls over the years..... ::)

My Ma lives 2 mins from me, my inlaws 10-mins from me.
I mow their lawns, shovel their snow, etc. (all year long).
Weekend visits are turned into chores for me,  but I like it.
It beats sitting there listening to Italians gossip.
