Jobs had a lot of businesses that failed and he's also dead because he thought he was smarter than doctors and physicians and wasted time surfing the internet for "natural cures". He had very treatable cancer but just screwed up. Never liked him anyway as he was a cheat and an asshole in life with using Foxconn.
That being said, I always move up and beyond in my business ventures. I took the opportunity and got it done. Whether I succeed or fail falls upon me
Vince - you may not think so but you are 100% fiscally conservative. Guys can say what they want on here - but the fact is that you NEVER give up trying. Most people simply can not handle the feeling of failure / rejection / shame - whatever. But anyone that says they think you are a loser probably is one themselves. Maybe they have settled for a job and maybe even make a decent 6 figure salary. But I would never call a man who lives and dies by his own will a failure.
It’s been said that most people only live up to 40% of their potential. Or that they give up just before they find success. Who knows what the “statistics” are - I couldn’t give a shit.
I disagree with a lot of what you say - but I’d never bet on you never finding success. In fact I think it’s virtually guaranteed that if you refuse to give up - you necessarily succeed.
