Spectre was very good.. a combination of the old Bond movies and the newer style that Graig plays.
...but coming in January there is a movie about the Bengazi raid coming out and it looked great.

must be hell on opening weekends or the first few weeks of playing. Movie theatres suck due to the 16 previews and 25 commercials they play before a movie. Add the time you need to arrive early for good seats, it's just not worth it.

6 CIA security contractors {ex-soldiers} from nearby took it upon themselves to get into the embassy and defend it.

From what the preview said politics were mostly left out of it and the movie deals with what was going on inside and around the embassy.

It's a tough call - depends on the kid - Snoke could be scary as shit. Think giant hologram, orc like, creepy voice.
Has he seen the other movies? I've seen that helps, since they get used to Vader, etc.

Spectre had some good set pieces, and the car chase was aces, but overall boring; and the twist was way telegraphed. Won't even talk about the title song. Last year I really liked Mad Max, Sicario, and that Robert Redford boat flick.

Pretty good. Not as good as hyped; and Stallone was solid. Again, not as good as hyped. Liked it. Fight stuff was forgettable.

the gun fights are very realistic

It pretty much wiped the floor with every superhero movie I've ever seen. I'm including Batman, Superman, Spiderman, and anyone else.
Fucking hilarious and truer to the character than most movies are willing to go.

I've heard but haven't seen it.
Was ok. Different kind of superhero stuff. Mostly funny. Good action stuff, especially the bridge scene. Definitely a watch, but an at-home one, not theater one. Reynolds kinda pulls it off.
