My 2 cents....Brock Tried in Recent years to Change his Natural Ability's/instinct's cause People were telling him he HAD too, as in Stand-up fighting, Kicking, etc........Those Basic things as a Fighter Never Really came NATURAL to him and these Weakness were becoming more and more Exposed the Better the Competition became, i give Lesnar all the Respect in the world for going as far as he went which is 10 times higher than the rest of us including those of us that have actually Fought in Different Disciplines over the years.
Unless you have ACTUALLY fought with the Pressure you Feel in those moments you really dont understand just what is Happening in the ring/cage whatever you can say what you want cause its freedom of speech and its easy to Comment from the safey of you Computer screen drinking you protein shakes, however if you have NEVER been there and done that its alot Harder than you think.
Bottom line IMO, Lesnar done Incredibly well (call it hype, Marketing, etc) whatever you want...HE Did go as far as he could given he was NEVER REALLY a Schooled Fighter in the Truest seance, he was a Natural Athlete blessed with Alot of Power/speed agility however he wasnt a Schooled fighter (schooled wrestler not fighter) which starts Way back for most of us as Young Kids and is Developed though MANY MANY years, Brock IMO should of NEVER tried to CHANGE his Instincts/Style cause Everyone said he "Had too" changing your Style, Technical skills as a Kid can be done over alot of time, @ his age was never realistically going to happen, trying to Play a Chess game with Natural fighters like Overreem, Cain, etc etc was IMO never going to work, He was/is a Bulldozer first and foremost with great speed/ Power etc right to the end and should of never Strayed from that path imo, However he went as far as he could go i wish the Guy well.
