Man Ramy looking small but ripped to shred there. Needs to pack on some size if he's going to get a serious nod from the judges. He'd probably be ok if he sacrificed a little of that munzer-ish conditioning for some added mass, however.

Reminder of just how fucked up the judging is at the O. Not that Jay "beat" Ramy, but that Ramy didn't get compared to the top 5 guys. He and Roelly got 2 of the worst screw jobs in recent history.

he's had nerve damage for a long time now. I remember back at the Arnold classic and maybe the ironman? back in '03 or '04 he came in cut wayyyyyy down and his left leg looked fucking horrible. I believe he was working with chad that year and chad mentioning a nerve issues from his neck to his lower back... the whole left side of his body was 15% smaller than the right.

Last Palahniuk book I read was "Snuff". Hilarious read. Highly recommended.
I skipped that one and "Tell All" as well. "Rant" was good, but I really didn't like "Damned" at all. I didn't care to read its sequel.
"Survivor" would make a great movie, by the way. It was planned, but 9/11 scrapped that. Obviously, filmgoers weren't quite ready to embrace a dark comedy about a plane hijacking.

He wants you all to know that he will be in New York showing everybody who has negative things to say about him being sick what time it is.

I forget.. the t-spine one isn't too bad). the c5 affects my upperback muscles (rhomboids/teres, ect...) which explains the issues I've had with spreading my back and symmetry between the two sides.. upper back used to be great, now I've been having issues the past 4years or so. I thought it was because of adhesions/scar tissue/impingements but found innervation of upper back and upper arms originates at the c5 (actually c4/c5 or c5/c6, I forget) which explains the issues I've been having.

noooo he doesn't. jay's pretty loose with his form.
but, nonetheless, over time you have scar tissue buildup and overuse injuries that occur over time.
mine most likely came from a combo of squatting and deadlifting.. and not to mention doing btn push presses with 275 for high reps where the bar would some times slam down on my traps/neck. I remember one time with just 185 where I though I broke my freakin neck. lol... not smart/ego-lifting on my part.

He got top 8 at the Olympia. Think about that. Top individual athlete in sports like tennis, golf, etc, are multi-millionaires, and they're skinny twinks. Add 75 pounds of muscle to the mix ;)

yea, but a lot of the time the guys who were shredded knew how to get themselves shredded and dry, but don't understand the differences in other bodies.

I'm impressed with the size of Ramy and the way he dwarfs DJ, who is not a small dude either. Yeah, camera angles n all that, but Ramy is wide as fuck.
As for his future as a pro bb, who knows? If he were to dominate the sport for years or if he fizzled out after 1-2 years, neither outcome would suprise me. Big wildcard
