Its a new way of business....Dana Linn Bailey and Rob do the same thing and expect others.  You put a bunch of weights in a shit warehouse flex space and you run 1 day training camps.  100 people would give you 15k and do it 4 times a week, you have 60k in your pocket for a warehouse that you're renting for maybe 1000 a month.  Plus, you can live there and do other activities including running the gym on a regular basis

So that means 400 people per week in your example (apart from a few that join again), but you can't expect so many visitors/clients on the long run. Only guys like the pope are able to do so, not a pro bodybuilder.

Even DLB and Flex Lewis aren't being that ambitious. Both are only offering training camps once a month.

Man have been getting the bodybuilder/physique guy look for decades and 99.99% of them did it without attending a muscle camp.  So, there is nothing mysterious about it.  In that sense it is "easy."  It is "hard" if you do not have the discipline to train, eat right, and supplement, but if you do not have those things no seminar/camp is going to give them to you... at any price.

These things are really much different than really thorough personal training sessions. I have no interest in attending one, but I also don't need a personal trainer. But there's nothing suspicious to me about the people who do hire them. Apparently, there must be some mystery about getting in shape as so many industries are built around cracking the code. Incidentally, these multi-day camps go for about the cost of 2 or 3 personal training sessions.

You're partly right. But the reason for doing camps in his gym (or any gym) as a new business is to close new members on the back end (no assholes, NO HOMO) and keep them as regular members. We do the same thing. That little fat loss challenge we ran brought us in 45 new members in less than a month. Our strength and conditioning clinics we're running this summer will bring us in additional 50-100 new athletes.

If aesthetics mattered then all would be well with all bodybuilders.

Flex has what I would call size for the sake of ego.  They all have it.  Live by the needle?  Die hooked to the Hemodialysis machine.

Alas, egos, like the Titanic, are doomed to be sent to the bottom of the sea.

to be fair to him though, he's been training and an avid follower of bodybuilding since about 13 y/o.
was talking to Neil Hill and he said the same, guy just been obsessed about bodybuilding since he first saw Platz and Arnie, used to bunk off school just to train!

guy's more than achieved his dreams, 212 mr O, can place well in the open, every expo has a huge queue of people wanting to meet him, smokin hot wife.
credit to him.

The gym is completely private. It doesn't accept members. The only thing that takes place there are the muscle camps. I don't even think they're making the address available to the public.

LOL If he's fully committed to recreating the Flag Nor Fail experience, then part of the warehouse is a living space and part of it used for other businesses.
