The societal u-turn (shored up by hamfisted equality laws shoehorned into other legislation and foisted on the public without plebiscites or referenda) towards gay hegemony is just one of many destructive instruments in the torture kit of the progressive behemoth steamrolling over the country's conventional, tried-and-true values and traditions.
There's so much more: The rapidly growing push towards European-style gun control; the elimination and outlawing of any religious symbols in public places during holiday seasons, no matter how innocuous or historically-appropriate; the opening of the immigration floodgates to the Muslim and Eastern hoardes by the powers that be; the favoritization of one racial group and gender over the other on EEO self-identifcaion questionnaires for employment; the loosening of penalties for serious drug offenses, to the point of releasing a good number of prisoners ostensibly to "give them a chance" because they're 'nonviolent' (Obama admin.); the straitjacketing of oil exploration in North America, specifically Canada with its massive reserves, in favor of importing from terrorist countries in the name of "global" warming; and many more.
