Arnold killed everyone

Dickerson was good, but not enough for Arnold

Zane wasn't at his best

I never saw that pic of Danny Padilla in this contest, he was incredible...definitivel y overlooked.

Mentzer not even close to anything, 5th place and people still argue he should've won.  ;D

funny so many of those pics are blurred out of arnold...truth is arnold dwarfed these guys!!!!  his back was all so much better than all of them in person......in the clear pics u can see this is true...he won this contest by a very wide margin..so he won arms,back,calves,chest .he was in better condition,separation and symetry which is what they judged on back then!!!! with so much more ripped muscle than everyone else.....the reason everyone was so mad he won is he always bragged since he retired that he could get in shape in 6 weeks and beat everyone anytime....then when he actually did it they were all pissed and cried foul,scam this and that,, but people who were there said arnold won hands down not close...

Have you seen the Padilla and Zane pictures? He loses to both quite easily.

apparently he decided like half an hour before the show to enter and did some benches and curls, and boom!

typical arnold bs and self propaganda he excelled at

conan filming was delayed, he contemplated competing at least 6 months ahead of time, and he started training about 3 months before the show, its in the bio 'Fantastic', Im not making this up.

well a couple months after he won muscle n fitness chronicaled his training from 6 weeks out he trained with joesph wilkoz or whatever his name is and he looked like he had just started at 6 weeks out....showed him gettin in shape week by week kinda thing,  he killed those guys he dwarfed zane and padilla bigtime..so no zane or padila were not close..he really was much better than everyone.

dickerson had probably the best package(no homo) on the day, but next to an inferior bigger man, got lost
platz freaky, but not a contender
bannout off
boyer looked great, but it was never gonna happen
mentzer at best top 6
walker not a contender

dickerson was probably closest competition, realistically, but still couldnt beat "off" arnold + politics

imagine the uproar, arnold wouldve probably sued the ifbb and weider..

I've been searching for that pic, seriously Zanes looks like a stringy child next to Arnold with his hugeness and billowing muscle bellies. He literally looks half the width of an off Arnold.

exactly, zane while really cut looks to have barely more mass than some naturals...arnold absolutely dwarfs him in every concievable way

zane was dwarfed yes, but this was a very off zane, smaller than usual, cut but flat, he had a serious injury, entering the show was a toss up till late

Two things. Zane looks small there but Arnold's structure sucks, he looks as blocky as Jay, Zane has him on conditioning and flow but yeah Arnold is out massing him easily. He was injured coming in to the show apparently.

Fuck knows what Frank would weigh natural probably about 100lbs.


Oliva and Nubret would have sleepwalked through this lineup.
