I absolutely hate barbell snatches, never been good at them even with some crooked nose Russian screaming at me.

I tried using two arm with two dumbbells for clean and push press. Maybe because I was unskilled in the movement it seemed the injury potential was high. Seen two styles on youtube. Those that started with the dumbbells at the side and others had the dumbbells in front of them. Like I said I didn't know what I was doing but having them in front seemed more natural for the movement.

Only one arm, one DB. Check out how the strongmen do the lift. The two DB ones felt better to me than a barbell, but still felt weird.

You just can't go that heavy, you're only using one hand. The most awkward part is trying to get the balance/center right.

What benefit is there to doing it other than being to do that lift better?
