...When over 100 people died in a train crash in California last year, it was barely covered on the east coast of the U.S...And within a day/s after the train crash, they announced the sub-prime crash and basically ignored a massive story of death...The train crash in now basically forgotten about...I'm saying it works both ways...The media was given a heads up on the sub-prime story well in advanced...And if this MJ story runs for weeks, you can bet that "THEY" are going to capitalize on the distraction...Look for something that doesn't make the major news on friday and into the weekend...

Bread and Circuses

Bread and circuses became the method that the ruling class of ancient   Rome   used to maintain their power and control of the people. This method kept their sheep fat and happy, even as they fleeced them and sent them off to plunder the free world.                                                                   

The circuses have changed from the gladiator contests live in the coliseum, to the good vs. evil games on our modern televisions. No longer do we need to leave our homes to watch the games in person, as they are delivered to our homes in full Technicolor. 

Every four years the power brokers put on an audience interactive game, where (in theory) the sheep have a chance to direct the path of government and decide who will be their master for the next four years. This guise is referred to as a Democratic Election, when in truth it is nothing more than smoke and mirrors.   

It is all a big chess game, and the moves are carefully planned. As with the Romans, the sheep have become more interested in the game itself than their own freedom. In these modern times, a football or basketball game draws more attention than a protest against an illegal war, where our children are being slaughtered. 

Ancient Rome has fallen and been replaced by the power elite in Washington , but the game is the same: keep the sheep fat, happy, and stupid as you send them off to die for the enrichment of the State. There seems to be no greater honor than sacrifice for the State, as long as it is someone else’s son or daughter. 

Nothing has changed in 2,000 years, and nothing will change in the future. The sheep are stupid and will never see the boot on their face, as they are too busy watching the games. As long as the State never attempts to take away their football or beer, the mind-fucked sheep will continue to be content. 

It is time for those who can see and feel the boot to choose a path that will end their slavery. It is time to leave. Although we will undoubtedly be labeled traitors and un-American for leaving the “protection” of the police state, it is the only possible option. The system cannot be fixed, it must be destroyed, and since it is obvious that the sheep are content, that will never happen.                                             

Space may be the final frontier, but the ocean is the frontier that can actually be populated now, and for less money. Living in international waters has a few distinct libertarian advantages: no government, taxes, or stupid laws. This would help to assure that the really nasty people (government, police, prosecutors, clergy, and god) would not want to join us, as they would not have the thieving, oppressive police state to help them with their plunder. 

Of course, I am aware that once the governments of the world realized that there was a place where people could go to escape the tyrannical grasp of the State, that our haven would soon be a target for them. They could never risk others discovering our utopia, and would quickly label our haven a terrorist hideout, and we would be assimilated or destroyed. 

As sad as it may sound, we may never discover freedom in our lifetime. We may have to wait until the final frontier of space to escape the evil empire. Even then, I am not sure we will ever escape the leviathan known as government. I fear that we will always be chasing the dream known as freedom, but I will continue to chase it for as long as I live.
