I have an off duty gig working for the Cap Metro Rail here in Austin. About 2 times a month we chase photographers and models off the tracks because they are too stupid to understand the dangers. A train goes by about every 30 min at 60 mph in some cases. I know some of the engineers and a couple have hit people on the tracks over their careers and it really affects them. So I mostly do it so the engineers don't have to live with the image of running over stupid people.

It would be different if some freak accident or something out of his control like a car accident. But the guy was standing on a train track in front of a incoming train
