its amazing that even though the odds are 1 in 295,000,000,000......people still win. technically no one should ever win the jackpot yet people do all the time.

The odds are around 1 in 195 million. Somebody wins because millions of tickets are being played, which makes the probability that someone will win quite good, but infinitesimal for any one individual.
