Johnny Fuller's Funeral Information
« on: February 08, 2006, 09:43:36 PM »

Johhny Fuller’s funeral has been set for Monday 13th February in Bournemouth, England. A memorial service is to be held at Boscombe East Cemetery Chapel at 13:00, with a burial at Bournemouth North Cemetery at 14:30.

People have the option to either send flowers or make a donation to a charity. Johnny’s friends are suggesting The Lord's Taverners charity, as they were looking for an organization helping young people in sport, which is something that was close to Johnny’s heart. The Taveners  motto is 'Giving Young People a Sporting Chance', and they believe in helping children with special needs.

Flowers or checks made payable to 'The Lord's Taverners Limited', should be sent,

    C/O George Scott Funeral Director's
          15, Somerset Road
                Boscombe
                England BH7 6JH.

From SM on Robby Robinson's site

As a friend of Johnny's, I can testify to his great personality and strength of character.  I am sad to pass on the news of his untimely passing on 20 January 2006. His funeral takes place on February 13th, so if anyone would like to convey their messages for the folks in the UK to read and appreciate, these will be gladly received.

Johnny has always been greatly admired in our community. Along with his fabled career, his dignity and calm aura have earned him huge respect. He has helped so many people regain full use of their limbs and bodies using his intimate knowledge of human anatomy, the nervous system, secret recipes, and personal physiotherapy techniques.

This is a man who is going to be hugely missed, a legend not only universally, but locally. He was training almost to the end and still had an incredible physique. Unfortunately, a minor health problem compounded into two years of illness. The Iron Man had just built himself up, so it is even harder for his many friends to come to terms with his passing.

Long live, Johnny Fuller! Bodybuilding and the world have lost a true hero.
