Trooper was correct and the NJ Turnpike is his domain.

There have been people impersonating police and the cop was out of uniform.

I’ve gotten in some serious arguments with cops who have pulled me over. Honestly they usually just take off cause they don’t want to deal with me, gotten out of many a ticket that way. Troopers are always the nicest to me it seems. Met a couple cops I liked in my time but I’d say 99% are power hungry pussy assholes.
