What made you stay???

You meet someone, things seem peachy, a couple of weeks pass and YOU ABSOLUTELY KNOW it's not going to work BUT you stay in it anyway.

Been there. We both knew there was no way we could build a good relationship based on on just sex alone,
... so, after 3 years and many latenight booty calls later,  ...we ended it.  :P  J/K. Can't say I've been there.

If I know it's not going to work, ...I won't stick around. That would seem selfish to me. Better to move on and let them move on as well, ...both parting as friends before it turns to hostility, resentment, and hatred on one or both parts.

Not me, i'd be outta there like a bat out of hell :) I just couldn't be bothered wasting the time or effort that could be used in more productive territory.

Some people (even very talented ones) just thrive on self-defeating behavior. Cant stop them if you try.
They may even know better and say so.

So, was it the good sex or good sex going with the emotional component?

One situation I left was because I knew the girl wasn't good for me. Sex was off the meter, but I never have been  p-whipped. She was a "life-force " sucker, and drained me. 
I had two sets of car tires slashed because of it.

Yeah, a gal who's a little ::) can be like a triple black diamond ski run. So can a pissed off woman if you can just turn the situation around enough but she's still revved up!

Life-Force suckers got to go though, New Goodyears or not. Semi-Delusional also falls in this group.
I got 1 old girlfriend still thinks shes gona be a rock-star ??? They apparently have not invented anti-psycotics strong enough yet in the last 20 years.
