Ok so the article says:
"Fifty-eight percent of coronavirus deaths in August were people who were vaccinated or boosted, according to an analysis conducted for The Health 202 by Cynthia Cox, vice president at the Kaiser Family Foundation."
80.6% of the population is vaccinated (58% of death cases). In other words 19.4% of unvaccinated and out of them are 42% COVID deaths.
By doing simple math, you're 3.0144 times more likely to die if you're unvaccinated.
