My energy levels are pretty good on 6.5/7 hours sleep in a day.
What do you think about naps?

They are good as long as they are long enough. Like 2 hours.

Depends on the workload of the day. Heavy workload = a nap or 45 minutes meditating = very useful to recharge the batteries. Half assing "rest" (like talking or computer stuff) = useless.

2 hours is too long. I can't sleep during the day and I'm naturally a night owl.

Highly effective for those who find shorter naps restful.
So effective that they're now an officially condoned part of airliner pilot protocol-proven effective for one of the pilots to nap during flight, helps to reduce fatigue on longer flights.

I nap in my car or my office for lunch.
