Much less dominant at track and field than in previous years.

Have they stopped taking the drugs in light of teh BALCO scandal and steroid witchhunt?

Gymnastics is enjoyable to watch.

I must admit i liekd the diving. Swimming events over 200m dont interest me

Ccling bores me also.

Never seen as much of the olympics as i would have liked due to a 7hr time differnce. Watching extended highlights on BBCi

Olympics is great - I'm addicted to that shit at the moment - even if it is only to watch the highlights - they're the best parts!

I'm even posting less on Getbig as a result!

Is it more important to win the overall medal count or to win the most golds?

As an American, I feel it's important to win both.

But being realistic, it's more important to win the most golds.

I would have said overall.

GB are doing pretty good...3rd...superb for them.

Team GB have had a brilliant weekend, no doubt about it, but they'll fall behind again in the medals table now that the cycling, rowing, and sailing events are all finished. The track and field I can't see any Brits doing well except maybe for Philips Idowu in the triple jump and maybe Christine Ohurugu in the 400m - everywhere else, we're screwed.

Kelly sotherton had a chance.

Maybe get lucky in the 4x100m scrape a bronze....who knows

The mid-late 90's GB were a force in track and field

Y'all had a young white girl in juniors that was fast as hell in the sprints.  Catherine Berry or Merry or something like that.
