Meet Your Next President!

Among the list of outstanding candidates for 2016 . . . .

Meet Your Next President!
by KEITH KOFFLER on DECEMBER 3, 2013

“Independent” but actually Socialist Senator Bernie Sanders of Vermont says he’s ready to run for president.

This is significant because it suggests disenchantment on the Left with Hillary. I can’t wait to see him making her want to pull her hair out during the debates.

Hillary is NOT going to cakewalk to the nomination. She’s not an attractive candidate, she fails at big projects, she achieved nothing as Secretary of State, and the Lefties don’t trust her.

Watch this video and tell me truthfully if you too don’t want to pull your hair out.

Perry is the next president.  Unless repubs fck it up and choose Christie.  Then you can enjoy Hilary, you deserve it.

Perry's been my prediction for president for quite some time now... he'll outlast those newbies in the primaries and debates.  he's the elder statesman at the table (as long as jeb stays out of the race).

President Perry, it has a nice ring to it!   fairly conservative presidency we would see.

I don't believe Perry will win.   Hes a lot like Bush maybe even dumber.  He will be destroyed in the debates.

Perry doesn't have a snowball's chance.  He's not dumb, just a horrible debater.

Mccain was pretty shitty at the debates.  Bush was pretty bad too.  Obama "uh" and stammered a ton.  Romney had someone whispering answers into his headphones.  And they all won lol.

Plus, Perry has been out of office for a few years now, with plenty of time to practice, really learn his positions and learn how to debate.  He was a tired governor at the end of an 8 year shift last time, the first time on national stage.  Now?  Tell me which candidate will be more polished and experienced at national level debates?

Perry has a very good chance.  Governors do well.  Texans do well.  He looks like prez and has good hair.  And he will be CALM in the debates the 2nd time around, while Rubio will be dribbling water and talking a mile a minute, and christie will be sweating and stammering about why those teachers deserved to be called the C-word.

Wrong about McCain and Bush.  Right about Obama.  Lying about Romney.

Perry is still the governor of Texas.  Do you ever tell the truth?

And if I felt like it, I could probably go find you endorsing Perry, then crapping all over him, and now endorsing him again.  Politics just aint your bag is it?  lol

This is why I don't read most of what you post on the board.  lol  Good grief  . . . .

Really solid governor with a ton of experience over a sizeable economy but I just don't think he has the tangibles for the national stage. Should be interesting to watch though.

He didn't have them in 2012.  And he'd look weak next to a jeb.  But looking at who will be running in 2016 (so far, of course), I think Perry brings the most experience - With a tenure in office to date of 12 years, 347 days, Perry is the second longest serving current U.S. governor.   Retiring in 2014, just in time to visit Iowa and establish himself.

Most experience.  From Boy Scout to Air Force Captain.   The closest Marco Rubio's been to military service is making up stories of being the "son of exiles" which they were certainly not.   Christie?  LOL he couldn't pass the physical.

Yes, he was lost and occasionally a little drunk in 2012 (once he was out of it, he did sip a little before that hilarious speech!), but now that he's had time to prepare for it, he's gonna be much smoother.

Who can beat him?  Smack yourself if you say Rubio or Christie.  Rand/Cruz have good positions, but are both newbies to national scene.

Perry looks great on paper, but he has some major obstacles to get over:
1. Will people give him a 2nd chance after his famous implosion last time?
2. He's not dumb but is not a good debater, will be made to look dumb by competitors
3. The whole Gov of Tx thing is good in reality, but stupid Bush tainted that pretty bad for a lot of voters

Kobe ass-raped an 18 year old girl, and people forgave him..
David vitter wore adult diapers to have fetish sex with hookers, and he's about to move from senator to governor.

Perry will laugh about it... "Oops!" I can see him signing autographs with that phrase, and a big smile.  It can happen to anyone, right?  Sunk him in 2012 but people are very forgiving.

yep I forgot perry was retiring in 2014, not 2012.  My mistake.

beach bum, very petty of you to keep harping on that.

but hey, you're right, I got that year wrong, sorry about that.  My point was that he'll be very well rested in the 2015/2016 primaries and campaigning.

You said he retired a "few years ago."  And not harping on anything.  Just pointing out that you rarely, if ever, tell the truth.

As a resident of Texas I can say that without question Rick Perry has been a solid governor and I believe he would make a very, very solid president...you just don't run an economy and continue to dominate elections like he did without having your shit together. Texas is booming under his leadership.

At the same time I realize that in this day so much of winning national elections is based on complete superficial bullshit(unfortunately) and John Matrix is spot on...2012 was served to Rick Perry on a silver platter...the handsome, presidential looking candidate governor from large successful economy who was given a massive lead upon entering the race and he straight up dropped the ball with the "grabbing Ron Paul incident" and the "Oops" incident.

Again, I think that is a shame because I have no doubt Rick Perry would be an excellent president...maybe he can regain his mojo, which is a decent possibility but boy that last go around really damaged him.

As a fellow resident of Texas I can say without question that Rick Perry is a fucking moron and probably be a disaster as president. A fucking monkey could could have done as well as he has in Texas. The fact that Texas is doing well is do to forces outside of Perry. Now I will give you that he stayed out of the way and didnt fuck it up but anybody other than a libtard who feels they know better than their constituents can do that.

Exactly. Small government philosophy, low regulations, part time legislature > than any "fucking moron" who decides to meddle too much.

Hopefully we can get more of his governing style on a national scale.

yeah, he would do a solid job, no doubt.

And I think 2012 was romney's from minute #1.  He'd run for it for 6 years.  Mccain wasn't ready in 00, but was ripe for 08.  Romny wasn't ready in 08, but was ripe for 12.  Perry wasn't ready for 2012, but he's ripe for 2016.

I am amused that you think that Perry ran the economy. He's a Governor, not an economic dictator in cowboy boots. As for dominating elections... when the average IQ of the electorate is lower than the temperature of tepid bathwater, dominating elections means little.

Rick Perry wouldn't be an excellent President. There's no politician that I'm aware of who would be an excellent President. There's no politician that I'm aware of that would be a decent President. Realistically the best we can hope for is:  "Ehh, he can't do too much damage..."
