Mock drafts I saw had GMen taking him.
Although the CBS Sports one changed it to the Browns taking him now after the combine.

he has a boxing pedigree too. uncle is iran barkley and father was a gold glove champ till a shoulder injury ended his career..also the kid seems to have his head on straight . the high school he went to is 17 miles from me.. wished i would have gone to see him play.

Yeah I agree. Only chance SF has is to trade up to no. 1, but I seriously doubt they will do that. I would. But maybe that's why I'm on the couch. lol

One game with 22 tries he had 44yds.
So, is that going to be a problem as a pro.
20-25 touches a game and a 16 game season?
Or is it good that he wasn't run to the ground in college.

I think they could offer a second or third this year and a first next year. But it's just a pipe dream. He'll be gone. John Lynch doesn't seem like that big of a risk taker. He has been outstanding so far.

I don't think most backs carry the ball 20-25 times a game any more. If we're talking about "touches" then yes. Still, I don't think that hurts him.

they had a day for him in his hometown over 5000 people turned up to wish him well... he was spotted wearing a giants jersey a week before the draft.

i guess maybe he wasn't touched by the hand of god. today against the jets 9 carries for 6 yards 2 catches for minus 1 yard. it's still the 3 rd quarter though.

NYG are bad and seem to be regressing.
Shurmur is not cutting it and has to go. Nice guy but not a good head coach.

They need to keep losing, and not mess up the draft next year.
They have young talent to build around, but are missing too many pieces at the moment.
