what have you noticed personally since drinking it. How long before benefits present themselves?
I think benefits would be pretty much right away. I originally started it when I learned about the benefits of having more alkalinized blood levels, and how it affects your total health. Especially regarding cancer cell proliferation. Also intestinal flora (healthier flora means greater food digestion/assimilation.)
I'm pretty spot on with my 5-6 "bodybuilder" meals a day, but I hate bothering with cooking and eating of veggies, so there is a definite hole in my nutrition program. Apple cidar vinegar greatly helps promote a more alkaline environment, so this would help with buffering lactic acid produced during your workouts. Just eating more veggies could accomplish this as well, but i work and go to school full time and i just dont have time for more cooking.
When i take a few tbsp a day of ACV, during your workouts, It feels kind of like when you are using creatine, how you can crank out a few more reps before the brutal lactic acid burn comes. My diet is pretty much the same day in day out so I can tell a subtle difference when I started doing this; plus all of the other benefits that you can't feel like healthier intestinal flora.
It's not a miracle supplement or anything, you're not gonna put an inch on your biceps. But It is something cheap and easy to do that keeps me a bit healthier in this relatively unhealthy sport of ours.
Tip: buy the Braggs ACV. It's the most "pure" that I've found yet.
