What are your holdings?

I'm about 2k away from my mutual fund investment goals for the year.

I have 2/3 of my money in mutal funds, one REIT, etc.

1/3 in money markets and CD's.  I add 500/month to these until they start paying themselves 500 a month, then i'll let them sit and renew them.  I've laddered 12 CD's.

Anyways, as soon as I'm done with the mutual fund cap, I'm going to start with individual stocks/etfs/trusts.

Once again, I'm not willing to spend more than 500 per transaction.

Made my first purchase this week:

PWE - bought at 32.62, up slightly, but I purchased due to its good dividend payouts (around 13 percent, paid out monthly).

What do you have? I'm always looking for ideas.

for what it's worth, the stock's highly recommended "by a guy i know", i guess their sales overseas (China) should be getting huge.
