A fundemental error with Madden: why can't you ever block punts?

Forget silly madden cards/points etc. No matter how many years the game has been on the market, I've never seen a blocked punt.

boycott ea sports.  i got madden 06 pc for $5 (wouldnt pay more), and it was a piece of crap.  until madden gets a physics based engine like the old sierra sports fbpro it will always be unreal BS eye candy and graphics.

Madden is awesome. Best sports game on the market. Might want to get with the times as the physics engine has gotten remarkably better since 06.

i tried 08 for one day.  reggie bush rushed for 1000yds in a season and was running up the middle and over lbs.  so...u are saying that ea focused on gameplay this yr vs graphics as usual?

what crying and burners?  that was in sim mode.  i dont like playing the game per say...just draft, roster, plays, pc vs pc, etc.  not into it that much.  i'll stick with sims in my spare time.  thanks.

in NFL 2k5 you could block field goals if you chose a goal-line defence and timed it just right

113yd fg in madden.  now...i know why i dont own a console.  guess for the blu-ray but dont watch enough tv.
