We have had a few getbiggers who have left us and can never return.
I would like to start this as a remembrance of those who were once a part of this great community and for whatever reason, were taken from this life.

Ok ok. In all seriousness myself and several other getbiggers saw Derek Anthony's impending death years ago and urged him to change his destructive behaviors. Like most here I didn't like DA but I am not at all happy that he died.

I want to dedicate this post to Groink and Shizzo. Getbig brethren who both died in a car accident. Out of all the ways to go, a freaking car accident. I thought Groink would have died from a shootout with the cops or be pulverized under a 500 pound bench press. As for Shizzo, I always thought being overweight and not exercising would have done him in. But, no, both die in a car accident.

One was a jew and the other was just regular head, but bald.
they both thrived on here but rubber Yaroni the wrong way for some reasons.
It did not work out eventually and by 2010, the relationship was dissolved.
they were talented dudes. I would say we were friends for a while but distanced myself after finding out how low life they were. I do not wish to put a judgment by saying this, just impressing my disappointment. nevertheless. they wish to make a career out of bb but never did.

I shared proof with enough people on here. My pride post pretty much sums it up. His wife Vivian was supposed to cover the money. I gave him an ultimatum on December 29th I believe was the date. And he never logged on again. He is a big time junkie according to his wife.

I know he did. His wife admitted it. Funny thing is she promised to cover for him but she hinted that he had a road rage incident and got in trouble so she probably took the money she was sending me and bailed him out. You always take that chance when you help someone, and I have helped a lot of people. It is a gamble. If I had known he was still a junkie I would have never trusted him.

When I saw that video of Mark Kerr that I posted (page 3), I thought that he may die sooner rather than later. His abdominal obesity would indicate to me that he is not in very good cardiovascular health. There is a definite correlation between abdominal obesity and cardiovascular health. Kerr's story is definitely a sad one, in my opinion.

When I saw onlyme at the 2007 Mr. Olympia expo selling his Muscle Mafia clothing line (I believe that was the name), he appeared to be about 600-lb. I would say 450-lb at the bare minimum.

OK, so I don't like to bump threads normally, but this particular one seems different - sort of gives closure (or not). Of course a lot of people just say "f**k it" and log off. But some don't, and without resorting to an APB like this I'm not sure how else we'd ever be sure someone had chosen to leave, or had that hand forced upon them :(

Does anyone remember " Toxic Avenger"?
My wife and I actually talked with him by phone several times.
I never met him in person, but he was a pretty smart guy.
He was a proud Paki and really knew his shit on cpu/ IT.
We (mostly) talked about relationships and he had finally met a girl that matched with him.
My wife heard he died on a plane crash in Europe (?) and verified it on the new gf's face book page.
I think she even posted about his death here on get big?
FYI, we all try to have fun here on get big.
99.9% of us will never meet in person or ever talk on the phone, etc.
But, I'm glad I got to know Toxic Avenger by some wonderful , real conversations.
RIP Toxie, you were one of the good ones.

He seemed really happy with his life and was very optimistic about his new love interest.
Of course, despite a few long calls, I never met him in person.
Thus, I have no idea what inner demons lurked deep inside that caused him turmoil????

he was always depressed, hearing now that his girlfriend claimed a plane crash makes me think he intentionally mixed alcohol with pills, it's not uncommon for family and friends to keep suicide a secret
